interleaved slices and mean intensity difference in adjacent slices
With interleaved slice acquisition for example in each TR first the odd slices, and then the even slices are acquired. Differences in signal intensity may occur by changes between these acquisitions (like movement), especially with a long TR. In particular, for fMRI sequences with interleaved slice acquisition a slice time correction is recommended to get accurate measurements.
However, I think "large" signal intensity differences with interleaved slices (except fMRI) are rarely seen with usual sequences and sufficient processing (interpolation) algorithms.

T1 FAT SAT PRE AND POS GADO
ANYBODY COULD GIVE ME A GOOD ANSWER WHY T1 FAT SAT IMAGES PRE AND POS GADO ARE SO DIFERENT CONCERNING TO THE MUSCULATURE, FAT AND OTHER STRUCTURES ?
THE MUSCLES ARE DARKER AND BETTER VISUALIZED,THE FAT COMES ALSO DARKER LIKE WE HAVE SEEN A SERIE WITH OTHER WEIGHT.
PS:.THE SERIES ARE EXACTLY THE SAME AND WERE PRINTED WITH THE SAME LEVEL AND WIDTH.
PS2:. IS THIS THE SAME THAT OCCURS IN T1 FAT SAT OF THE ANKLE WHERE THE LIQUID APPEARS BRIGHT ?
PS3:. HOW COULD I EXPLAIN BOTH ?

THANKS.

CLAUDIO

Is my first time in this forum! I read it a lot this forum, is very helpfull for my job!

I have a dificult in my mri machine.

First i would like to now how can i construct a bolus teste manualy! I don't have smart prep. What sequence i must use and what parameters i must choose.

Second, can you expline to me the diference between centric fill of K-space and non centric?

When is the best time to star the sequence after take the time injection.

My regards

vibe sequences in neuro mri?
Vibe is a breathhold technique, so mor suitable for abdomen imaging.
mprage goes very well for post contrast brain imaging
