MRI artifact
No it is not an RF leak artifact. That would appear different. I would guess that there was one instance of motion. Note that the artifact is mostly on the high contrast areas (white against black) where the patient can move the most.

Also it may be that your acquisition matrix was a little on the low side, which would lead to larger pixel-y appearance that is more apparent when there's motion.

GE SWAN sequence parameters.
GE SWAN sequence parameters. Does anyone know how to make this faster, but not effect image quality?

Does anyone know where I can find more information about the different types of GE MRI Platforms? I have experience with several different versions, and would like to know more about versions are out there. Or can someone explain to me how they are categorized? It seems everyone knows about the different types, but there is no where to learn about them

ACR Compliance Question
In 2010, we submitted a knee for our MSK module in our ACR accreditation. Over the past three years, a few new radiologists have come on board, and the preferred knee protocol has changed. But we've continued using the sequences that were submitted to ACR in order to be compliant. At this point, we have three different sequences that NONE of our radiologists care about... and it's basically adding time to each procedure without being beneficial to the patient. But we HAVE to perform those scans.

We are currently getting re-accredited - but we are submitting a wrist this time for the MSK module. Once we get approved, can we drop the unnecessary sequences in the knee and be compliant since we will be using the submitted sequences in the wrist?

Merging stacks
Hi,

Hopefully someone can offer me some help!

I have three stacks of 35 images covering the proximal to distal thigh, and I'm wondering whether there is a way of merging these three stacks together into one stack?

These images are from the transverse plain, and all have the same metadata.

Thanks in advance,

Llion
