I don't know if you are still interested in purchasing imaginged, but I just wanted to share my experience. I just passed my MRI boards and I prepared for it by reading MRI in Practice and viewing the imagingeded videos. They really complimented each other. The book is very thorough and technical and the videos put it all into everyday language. For me it was helpful to have someone explain many of the concepts. Candi is a great teacher and made it easy to understand...well almost easy..it is MRI afterall! Hope this helps:)

MagneVu 1000
We maintain the MagneVu systems and have several avaialable for sale, cheap. They are probably not a good option for veterainary work, however, becaseu the field fo view is very small. There are other inexpensive MRIs (which we also have) that will work far better.

Easy!!! If you have been working in the field for a while and use the MIC, MRI in practice and any other review book you are set. I had like only 2 math problems and even those were both calculating scan time. Tons of anatomy and the rest dealt with GRE sequences (steady state, spoilers etc) Maybe I was lucky and got the less difficult test but if you are about to take it, don't freak out.

Distortion in large FOV
I'm interested in evaluating the distortion of MRI in large fields of view (25 x 25 x 25 cm), in a context of radiotherapy. Unfortunately phantoms available on the market only allow the study of reduced field of view because of their size. Do you know if there are phantoms of sufficient size ? Which type of solution do you recommend for the filling ?

Thank you for your advice.
