C.spine ACR protocol for Aries II
Im having difficulty producing a good quality exam to pass ACR accreditation for Aries II .3T open.
can someone give me any tips pls.
specially the
T2 sag

Slice thickness must be <3.0mm
GAP< 1.0mm
In plane pixel(read)<1mm
In plane pixel(phase)<1mm
Pixel are<1

I Cant get it in specs. without going over this numbers
thanks in advance

Re: Calculation of Resolution and Tr
Tacq= 32s
Gradient strength= 10mT/m
Matrix size=256x256 pixels
dwell time= 0.03ms

How to calculate resolution and Tr?

MRI artifact
No it is not an RF leak artifact. That would appear different. I would guess that there was one instance of motion. Note that the artifact is mostly on the high contrast areas (white against black) where the patient can move the most.

Also it may be that your acquisition matrix was a little on the low side, which would lead to larger pixel-y appearance that is more apparent when there's motion.

Quite possible. Manufactures like their own designations for bandwidth for ??? reasons. GE uses true bandwidth in KHz. Siemens uses Hz/PIXEL. Not sure what Toshiba uses. Contact Toshiba applications for designator and conversion factor.

Can some one help me w/this question.

From the following parameters what will the scan time be, in minutes, to acquire data?

TR 2000msec FREQUENCY STEPS 256
TE 60msec NEX 2
T1 800msec FLIP ANGLE 90
pixel .95x.95mm PHASE STEPS 192

THANKS
