Prone plantarflexion ankle MRI-upside down dicom images
We have been performing our ankle MRI exams in prone plantarflexion in order to decreased magic angle artifact. The images are beautiful and much easier to interpret. However, they come out upside down and reversed from the scanner. We have the techs flip them correctly in our PACS. Unfortunately, many of our referring doctors have their own separate pacs system and they take the dicom data from the disc we create for the patient and load into their system. When they do this, the images are again upside down and reversed. We are using GE 3T systems. Anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on how to fix the dicom images that are burned onto the disc? Thanks.

For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen.
